Morning Workout: The Wake-up Workout

Hi I’m Claire.


About 10 years ago My life did a massive u turn….. I was living a fairly care free life when I had a really bad accident and broke my leg so severely leaving me not able to walk for nearly a year !!


In that year I really struggled with depression, the thought I might not walk properly again scared the life out of me!!


I had months of rehabilitation and was introduced to Pilates and the reformer and I can honestly say it changed my life, I think without it I wouldn’t be walking as good as I do now.


My left leg is pinned and plated so unfortunately, I still sometimes struggle now with pain, especially when the bad weather comes. I really notice a different if I don’t do my exercises.


I love working out and I love the way it makes my body and mind feel.


Someone that has gone through mental health issues knows how important it is to exercise daily.


That why I decided to start my wake up work outs! I know if I exercise first thing in the morning I feel so amazing for the rest of the day! I also wanted to help others feel the same !


Best exercise after waking up!


Half an hour at 6:30am a few times a week not only helps you get fit but also helps calm the mind and helps with depression and anxiety.


You really start to notice a shift in your life and Better things start happening to you as your in more of a positive mind set.
